Visions for Minnesota's Future: Solar

I can envision people at work, here in Minnesota, building thousands of solar thermal collectors which are being installed as fast as they can be made. Many of these solar heating panels are installed on low income homes on which we used to spend millions of dollars in heating assistance-year after year after year.
I plan to work very hard to make that vision a reality through actions below:
- Remove barriers which prevent businesses from manufacturing and selling their solar heating and other renewable energy products in Minnesota.
- Invest in new energy technology that produces jobs here in Minnesota
- Provide incentives for low and middle income people to install renewable energy technology at their homes.
- Assist our public schools and other government buildings to install solar technology to help them cut their energy costs.
If we can bail out greedy investment bankers and unscrupulous investment houses, we can surely help out working people and senior citizens who are being hit hard by energy costs.
