Letter: Vote for Sailer Nov. 2
As a small business owner and resident of Park Rapids, I am very proud of Rep. Brita Sailer and how she promotes our interests in St. Paul. Brita has proven that she is an excellent steward for our region – hard-working, down-to-Earth, and passionate about improving the lives of her constituents.
Brita has worked tirelessly to increase access to high-speed Internet, which is an absolute necessity for us to attract new businesses and residents. She has also fought passionately to preserve the natural resources that make Park Rapids such a special place to live and visit.
Small businesses and our natural resources are vital to the Park Rapids economy. Brita promotes and protects both. Let’s keep a good thing going – Vote to elect Brita on Nov. 2.

Letter: We’re proud of Sailer’s representation We are proud of Brita Sailer’s representation, and we are sick of ads from metro lobbyists who distort her record. You know, state government is not “them,” it is “us!” Together, with Brita Sailer, we can grow our economy, provide jobs and educate our children. Brita has proven that she understands our issues and challenges. Join us and vote for Brita on Nov. 2. She knows us. She works for us. Let’s re-elect Brita Sailer!

Letter: Sailer has been proven asset for 2B
10/04/2010
In 2004, Brita Sailer ran for a seat in the Minnesota legislature representing the citizens of District 2B, which includes all or parts of Pennington, Polk, Hubbard, Clearwater and Beltrami Counties. Population represented: approximately 36,477. She was elected and re-elected again in 2006 and 2008. Now running again in 2010, District 2B voters know that Brita is a proven asset and has been in tune to the needs of all of its citizens. It would be a mistake if she would be thought of as a typical politician, but in today’s political climate there is that danger. She is one of us. She is approachable and if you saw her walking down the street, go up to her and say “hello.” You’d be in for a treat. Do not let the prevalent political firewall be a barrier. In this day and age negative political slings and arrows have drowned out common sense and civil discourse. They will be deflected by “truth” and reason. Whatever political party you belong to, do not give into this behavior. Hear and listen to both sides. Brita believes and practices this. One thing I know a lot about is “attention to duty.” This describes Brita Sailer’s time in office.
